The Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN C42, is the first car to be built in Hinwil based on the budget constraints available to the teams, based on the regulations in force in this year's championship. Designed by the team led by the Technical Director, Jan Monchaux, the C42 is a completely new car that takes advantage of the possibilities offered by the new aerodynamic package and 18 '' diameter wheels with low profile tires. The C42 is powered by the new Ferrari engine, a set designed for combat, given that the new regulations give the opportunity for something like this.
The colors are impressive, while at the same time they bring memories from the rich racing history of Alfa Romeo, but also of Sauber Motorsport, which is entering its 30th year of participation in Formula 1. Designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, the new colors make it instantly recognizable the car, with an ideal mix of the two basic colors, red and white. The brand's historic font commemorates Alfa Romeo's beginnings in car racing in the 1920s, while the name of the brand's first C-SUV, the Tonale, and the legendary Quadrifoglio (four-leaf clover) are another link in history with the present and future.
In the hands of the experienced Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu, the first Formula 1 driver from China, the C42 is ready to impress at every level.
